Reading the Falling of the Keys in the Water
A brief example of how I predict the future.
I wake up feeling refreshed today. Last night was pure hell. It had been days since I had brought myself to leave the apartment unaccompanied, and even then it was just for quick runs to the market for things like milk. But last night, my friend and current couch owner had a date that was likely to end at her place, and so I had to make myself disappear. I also needed money desperately, and there happened to be a check waiting for me in Hollywood. Conveniently close to another occasional couch owner. At Tatiana's place, she had been back from Brazil awhile, and apparently I had been by once before after their return. Only I couldn't really remember. But we had discussed her looking for another job, and it was right after I had shed an assload of costs, the hard way. I offered her nearly double what she was making. I also wanted to have her work on some of the ensemble management project instead of bookkeeping. Which of course led the bookkeeping into total failure mode since it all rested on my shoulders. Never take over a job you're paying someone else to do.
